Displaying Photos

I like the corkboard idea on a wall that we can use to post fun pics from holidays or a shot of out of town guests....it should be in a fun place such as the kitchen or even the sewing room? We should get a polaroid camera so we can take pics of guests on the spot and write the date etc...I've seen other people do this and it is such a fun idea!

Color Swatches

I was finally able to make it to the Benjamin Moore store here (they have banker's hours!) and picked up a ton of swatches. We just need to sit down now and make the final selects...especially for the sewing room + living room. Bridget - your choices were great and I naturally chose many of them without looking at the list first! So we are on the same page. Above is the Domino shot that inspired the gray slate color choice.

Pillows

I really love these pillows made from old feed + grain bags. This trend seems to be popping up in a few different places. Not sure where they would work best but I want them all! The top two are from an antiques store in New Hampshire called Red Chair. The bottom four are made by a woman in North Carolina. She has a shop called SOWN on Etsy.

Couches

Here are some possible couch options. Their shapes are a mix of traditional and modern, which would work well in the house. The neutral, light colored ones would look great in the living room against the slate walls. I really like that they would contrast some of the older couches + chairs that we are re-upholstering.
The smaller couches or the chaise could be perfect in the office or a large bedroom. We could add color + pattern through pillows (as in the photo Mary posted earlier). They look comfy too!
The couches that are labeled are by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and the others are by Pottery Barn (besides the 3 inspiration photos at the top which are unkown).
